A Note on BlueUni ~

BlueUni Bikinis began with my search for swimwear that could move as beautifully as it looked.

After years spent in swimwear, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, I wanted to create pieces that felt more considered on the body. Secure, sculptural and able to be lived in beyond just a season.

Swimwear made for sun, saltwater, movement and the quiet sensuality of feeling at ease in your own skin.

The brand is shaped by my love of the ocean, travel, femininity and uncomplicated elegance. Each piece is designed to hold without restricting, flatter without force and carry you through the kind of day that moves from shore, to swim, to somewhere after.

Blue speaks to the ocean - vast, mysterious and transportive.

Uni, meaning sea urchin in Japanese, honors a creature both delicate and armored, sculptural and deeply of the sea. The name also carries a personal childhood memory of sushi bars with my Dad, where the word first became tied to curiosity, ritual and something shared.

Designed in Southern California and produced in small runs, BlueUni Bikinis is an expression of natural form, thoughtful construction and the quiet confidence of feeling at home in your body.

Every BlueUni name begins somewhere real - a hidden cove, an island escape, or a moment beneath the surface.

Each name is a memento from the water, a way of carrying those places with us and passing a little of that feeling on to you.
